Dear Christian friend,

My heart is burdened for the people of Kenya, East Africa. There has been an uproar of violence since last December’s presidential election. Displeased with the outcome, a political opposition group began a series of vicious attacks. Tens of thousands of men, women and children are being held captive. Houses and churches have been locked, set on fire, and completely burned while occupied. Women and young girls and boys have become the victims of rape and sexual abuse. The hospitals are full to capacity and many have been left on the streets to die. In less than 2 months over 1,000 people have been killed and over 600,000 are now displaced.

There is a great cry of desperation, a cry for relief, a cry for deliverance, and a cry for peace! The nation of Kenya is crying for HELP! The people are crying out, and as Christians we must listen with compassion and move to bring a change. As a missionary to Kenya East Africa, I am deeply concerned about the present condition that’s going on. Per a conversation the other day with the Bishop Philimon Okoth, who oversees the hundreds of orphans and two hundred churches that we provide for in East Africa, he stated that all have fled from their villages and the orphage have been destroyed. They are asking me to please provide help to Kenya East Africa. They are in need of financial help. The people are without clothing, starving and shelter. Many of them have been forced to take refuge in the prison there.

The spreading of violence has reached a point that neither President M. Kibaki, nor Odinga maybe able to stop it. Thousand of machete-wielding youths hunt down people, torching homes, buses and clashing with police. Many are being stoned to death, while others are burned alive.

Many of you are aware and some may not know that I have been traveling to the nation of Kenya East Africa for several years; reaching out, God saving and delivering thousands of souls. Once again, I hear the cry of God’s people. The cry of those in Africa is growing louder and louder. Can you hear the cry of the wounded, sick, and lost, without shelter, victim of rape, the orphans and the cry of the widows? What will you do? What would Jesus do? The answer is simple. Jesus would help meet the need of the people.

I am asking you to join in with me to do everything we can to save them and get them shelter, food and reunited with their families. Will you take a stand with this ministry and demonstrate the love of Christ?

I urge you to pray right now, listen to what God is leading you to do. Our God is a Missionary God. Jesus moved with compassion for the sick and enslaved. He was so driven by the spirit of compassion that He made the ultimate sacrifice. Our brothers and sisters in Christ are being murdered, mutilated, raped and their churches burned. How can we allow it to continue?

It is imperative that we act now. Therefore, today I am asking you to give the largest donation possible to assist in our mission. Together we can SILENCE THE CRY!
